Message to Law Makers: Support Stem Cell Research!

The Richmond's Family Story

Palmer's Birthday September, 11, 2004

Palmer is nine years old. He can not walk, talk or sit independently. He requires 24 hour care. He is fed pureed food from a baby bottle and he still wears diapers. The simplest things, like blowing out his birthday candles need to be done for him.

We love Palmer and are committed to him. Our family life revolves around his needs, but as we get older we worry increasingly about his future and who will care for him. We believe stem cell research could someday help Palmer achieve both mobility and speech improving his quality of life. Please support Stem Cell Research and help families like ours live better lives.

Help us inform Congress about the need for stem cell research by adding your own "Reality Snapshot" to our site.
