Special Education Law Blog
A special education legal resource discussing case law, news, practical advocacy advice, and developments in state and federal statutes and regulations. Postings include insight and sometimes humor from Charles P. Fox, an attorney who is also a parent of child with special needs, his law clerk, Suzanne Geller, and other guest authors.

Technical Assistance Alliance for Parent Centers: Funded by the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs, to serve as the coordinating office for the Technical Assistance to Parent Projects beginning October 1, 1997, The Alliance is a new innovative project which focuses on providing technical assistance for establishing, developing, and coordinating Parent Training and Information Projects under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act. The Alliance offers a variety of resources to assist the Parent Centers as they move into the 21st Century. This will further strengthen the Parent Centers' ability to effectively serve the families in their community whose children have disabilities.

The National Association of Parents with Children in Special Education (NAPCSE) is a national association that is dedicated to ensuring that all children and adolescents with special needs receive the best education possible. NAPCSE serves the interest of parents with children in special education by giving them numerous resources within the field of special education. By having an association that they can truly call their own, parents with children in special education now have an association that is completely devoted to their needs. NAPCSE  advances and strengthens its community through networking, research, publications, and membership benefits.

The National Information Center for Children and Youth with Disabilities (NICHCY): the Dissemination Center is part of a broad Federal effort to improve results for children with disabilities. We're funded by the Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) at the U.S. Department of Education to connect you with the resources you need in your efforts on behalf of infants, toddlers, children, and youth who have disabilities.
