Waiting for the Sun to Rise
People who stand in a sunny place are not aware of people in a shady place.
It is sad but it is difficult for them to notice this unless these people change their places.
To experience is the best way. The best however would be for everybody to be able to stand in a sunny place.
By Luna Hiki, seven year old brain injured child
My name is Palmer Clay Richmond. I was born September 11, 1995. I can’t walk or speak and I need daily care.
For years my mom and dad were sad because none of my doctors could help me. One day they decided not to wait for a miracle anymore. Instead they decided to start a foundation. CNS Foundation. My parents believe that children like me can be helped if doctors had the right medicines. This is why they decided to go see the scientists; the scientists do research and learn all sorts of stuff so that they can then turn that information into medicine. The scientists then give it to the doctors all over the world so that they can give it to their patients.
If there was medicine that could make my brain healthy, to me that would be the beginning for me and other children to stand in a sunny place. I look forward to that day. Please help us see that day!
