Sharon Lynch

Team Fundraising Goal: $500.00

In Loving Memory of Sharon Lynch and in honor of Cooper Somerville

This tribute page and fund was established to honor two people dear to us: our beloved grandmother, Sharon Lynch and our amazing son, Cooper Somerville.

On February 15, 2010, Sharon Lynch passed away peacefully at Eisenhower Medical Center after experiencing a stroke. She leaves behind an incredible legacy of a life filled with good deeds and a loving group of family and friends.

Cooper was the victim of a near drowning on July 12, 1998. On that date his life was changed forever as well as his family's lives. Cooper has always been a fighter and he fought through this too! Doctors didn't expect him to live through the night, but he stayed strong. Two days later he began to come off of the respirator and breathe on his own, with no problem. That was the good news - the bad news was he had severe brain damage that doctors told us he may never recover from.

In honor of our grandmother Sharon and because she was one of Cooper's biggest fans, always wanting the best for him, hoping one day for therapies and cures, we are asking you to please join with us to help Cooper and the 14 million children that are suffering from a brain injury.

CNS Foundation is dedicated to clearing the path to clinical trials thereby making therapies and cures a reality.
Thank you for your continued support, friendship and above all your unyielding belief in the hope for a better tomorrow for all of our children!

CNS is a nonprofit foundation supporting the development of brain repair therapies for special-needs children.
