Palmer Clay Richmond

September 11th, 1995 – October 25th, 2014

You don’t have to talk to listen.  And you don’t have to walk to move.  Palmer Clay Richmond taught us that.  And in returned asked for nothing but love and a chance.

Fia and Phill Richmond undoubtedly and unconditionally delivered those two things everyday.  Palmer lived longer than nearly everyone expected.  Credited to his unwavering fight, bravery and boundless positivity as well as the astounding community of support that formed around him.

Palmer was a very special person. He danced on the edge of this world and the next.  He was our shaman.  Seeing things we couldn’t and communicating with clear intention as we quieted our pace and opened ourselves.  His magic, seen through his electric eyes and shining smile, was magnetizing, drawing people in towards him, towards each other.

He was a teacher, a son, a brother, a friend, an inspiration.  Whatever he was to you he was special.  Our relationship with him will continue as our experiences with him push us all to love deeper, to work harder and to be better.  As we face our next challenge, we’ll think of his grace and his quiet determination.  Palmer Clay, gratitude does not begin to encompass how we feel for all that you have given us.  We love you Palmer.

Forever and Always,

-Mom, Dad, Brother, and Sister
